Spotify for Artists – Important Visibility Notice

Modified on Tue, 30 Dec, 2025 at 5:16 PM

After delivery, your release should normally appear in the “Upcoming” section of Spotify for Artists within 3 days.

However, please note:

In some cases, a release may not appear immediately due to Spotify’s internal watchlist and verification checks. This commonly happens when:

  • The artist name is similar to a high-profile

  • The artist already has strong streaming numbers

  • Spotify flags the profile for manual identity or rights verification

When this happens, the release is temporarily held for review, even though delivery was successful.

What to do:

If your release does not appear in Spotify for Artists after 3 days, please email support@rapturemusic.co with your release UPC, confirmation you have rights to release with this artist, and request a Spotify Watchlist Clearance.

Once notified, we will:

  • Submit a clearance request directly to Spotify

  • Confirm distribution rights on your behalf

  • Follow up until the release is cleared and visible

Important: Spotify does not notify us automatically when this happens — action can only be taken after the artist or label flags it to us.

This process helps protect artist identities and prevents incorrect catalog mapping, but timely communication ensures your release is not delayed unnecessarily.
