If you need to remove a release from DSPs (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, TikTok, etc.), please follow the steps below to ensure the takedown is processed as quickly as possible.
Step 1: Email the Takedown Request
Send an email to support@rapturemusic.co with the following details:
Subject line:Takedown Request – UPC
Email body must include:
Release UPC (mandatory)
Reason for takedown (e.g. incorrect audio, rights issue, metadata error, re-release planned, etc.)
Requests without a UPC cannot be processed.
Step 2: Processing Timeline
Once we initiate the takedown, it can take up to 24 hours for the release to be removed from DSPs.
Some platforms may update faster or slower depending on their internal refresh cycles.
Please note:
A takedown cannot be reversed once fully processed.
Royalties generated before the takedown will still be reported as usual.
If you plan to re-release the same project, ensure all issues are fully corrected before resubmission.
